1968 Dodge Dart GTS 440 V8 Four-Speed at Passing Lane Motors

I thought you might like a look at this super clean 1968 Dodge Dart GTS. It’s powered by a high-performance 440 V8, equipped with an aluminum intake, 4 BBL carb, and coated headers. All that power is being sent through a four-speed manual transmission. This really is the nicest Dodge Dart that I’ve seen yet. The paint is slick, the interior looks like new, and it’s really jaw dropping under the hood. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

Trans Am – First Start up, Cam Break In, and Wicked Idle

It’ll be a little while before we can really see what it’s got, but it sure sounds mean. The cam break-in sure was nerve racking. We’re sure glad to have that part over with and hopefully things go smoothly from here on out. We still have a lot of tuning to do on the car, but I know a bunch of you were waiting to hear it run. The idle on that Howards cam definitely sounds plenty healthy. From the little bit of accelerating we did from 2500 RPM to 4200 RPM, it feels like it’s going to be a strong runner. We’re going to take it easy for a bit though and break it in well. Thanks for watching, we’ll have more updates coming soon!

1963 Pontiac LeMans Rare 4 Cylinder Four Barrel Four-speed 3.73 Posi – Half of a 389 V8

I thought you might like a look at this very unique 1963 Pontiac LeMans. It’s powered by a 194.5 Cubic Inch 45 Degree Four Cylinder, topped with a 4 BBL Carb, and running through dual exhaust. Pontiac, basically cut a 389 V8 in half…in fact, it uses the same head as the 389 and the 421. In this case, the four cylinder is backed by a four-speed manual and a set of 3.73 Gears with Posi. As you can see, it really is a great looking car and would look right at home on the dragstrip in the 1960’s. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Vintage Indy Sprint Car Roadster V8 Gateway Motorsports Park

I was out a Gateway Motorsports Park today for the USAC Maxxas Silver Crown Series Gateway 100. It was a 100 mile race run on the 1.25 Mile oval. Before the race, they had some vintage Indy cars that were taking some laps, so I decided to film some of them. This is just one of the many awesome cars they had on hand. It’s a San Diego Steel Products “500” Roadster. This car was raced from 1973 through 1983 as the Roberts Steel Erection Roadster. It is powered by a Chevy V8, that they used to challenge the Offenhauser engines being used at the time. It’s a beautifully restored car and obviously runs great as well. I hope you find it interesting….thanks for watching!
