The crew at Manns Restoration, in Festus, MO, are putting the final touches on the 1936 Cord 810. In this video, we took the car for it’s first test drive and it did really well. They have a few little bits left to add, then we’ll do a complete video on it. The restoration has also been completed on the nice little MG. The owner is now going to take the car home and install the engine and transmission. We hope to get another look at it after it’s up and running. Kurt McCormick stopped by to check on the progress on his Sam Barris custom Buick. The whole crew has done a wonderful job with it. Kurt was sure to thank Craig Wimmer for the amazing job he did with the wet sanding and buffing. The paint truly looks flawless. We hope you find this interesting, we’ll have more video on all of these cars in the near future. Thanks for watching!

1969 Jaguar E-type Roadster Update – Manns Restoration

We thought you might like a look at this 1969 Jaguar E-type, that is currently being restored at Manns Restoration, in Festus, MO. It’s powered by the DOHC 4.2 Inline Six, equipped with triple SU carbs. The exhaust gases are expelled through a beautiful set of split headers, then back through the full dual exhaust. It has been upgraded to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission for better performance, highway cruising, and fuel economy. This car is also equipped with Jaguar’s fully independent rear suspension, so it should handle like it’s on rails. It’s going to be a beautiful car when it’s completed. We’ll come back and give you another look when it’s ready to hit the road.

1978 Trans Am 455 V8 Start up and Restoration Update

We thought you might like a look at this 1978 Pontiac Trans Am from Manns Restoration. It’s powered by the original 400 V8, that has been bored and stroked to 455 cubic inches. It also features the shaker hood, t-tops, and snowflake wheels. They still have a few bits of trim left to install, but it’s getting really close to completion. In this video, we mostly wanted to give you a look at the stereo setup. It allows you to sync up with modern devices, but still retain the appearance of the factory stereo. It’s definitely a cool piece of equipment. Hopefully you find this interesting, we appreciate you watching. We’ll try to come back with another video when the car is fully completed.
