Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, & Classics – Manns Restoration

The weather kept us inside today, so I decided to put together a little show reel for Manns Restoration. They truly do some of the finest automotive restoration work in the world. This is just a brief glimpse at some of their recent projects. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

The background track is “Listen My Son”, by The Unseen Guests. You can find them here:

Folk Painting is Finished – 36 Ford in the Country

I recently finished my latest folk art painting and I thought you might like a look. The car featured in the painting is a 1936 Ford Cabriolet.  Obviously, I’ve chosen to put the car in a rural setting. This painting is done in acrylics. Hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

Folk Art Painting 36 Ford in the Country Almost Finished by RamblinAround

The weather has been keeping us inside a lot lately, so we’ve had to find things to keep us busy. I have been putting in a little more time on my painting and thought I should show you the progress. I really like painting these Folk art style landscapes and since I like classic cars, I usually include those as well. I try to start with primitive or naive style folk art, similar to the style of Grandma Moses, but then brighten it up and modernize it just a bit. They are just fun paintings to do and a good way to pass some time. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

Painting Pontiac Trans Am GunMetal Gray Plasti Dip

We recently installed a new front bumper cover and ground effects on my son’s 1987 Trans Am. After the repair, the car was red and black, with a white bumper…so we decided it was time to paint it. We’re not ready for a show quality paint job yet, so we decided to go with Plasti Dip. Jordan cleaned, prepped, and painted the car entire on his own. In this video, you can see that it really is coming along well. I really like the gunmetal gray color. He also decided to remove the door moldings for a more clean and custom look. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

1969 Mercury Marauder X100 429 V8 360 HP Manns Restoration in Festus MO

I found this Mercury Marauder sitting behind the paint shop at Manns Restoration and I thought you might like a look at it. These Marauders were essentially like a Luxury car with some muscle. These cars came standard with the 390 FE Series V8. This particular car is an X-100 Model, which means it’s packing the big 429 V8 with 360 horsepower. Inside, you’ll find a very comfortable interior and a very unique U-shaped shifter. This car is just in for some slight paint work to freshen it up. I hope you found it interesting, thanks for taking a look!
