Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Race Cars, and Classics – RamblinAround

This is a collection of awesome cars we’ve filmed over the past few years. Whether you’re into street rods, muscle cars, or nicely restored classics, we have you covered. We made sure we threw in plenty of burnouts, wheelies, and high speed flybys to keep things interesting. We hope you like it, thanks for taking a look!

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Tom Abbett, for helping us with a lot of the driving, and to Steve Dunsford, for providing us with his awesome camera skills.

These clips were filmed with the assistance of our great partners, Fast Lane Classic Cars, Gateway Classic Cars, Passing Lane Motors, and Gateway Motorsports Park.

1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 402 Big-block V8

I thought you might like a look at this freshly restored 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. It’s powered by the numbers matching 402 Big-block, that has been freshly rebuilt. While they had it apart, they tossed in a .604 Lift roller cam and added some Doug’s ceramic coated headers. All that power is being sent through a Turbo 400 automatic, back to a 12 bolt rear with 3.55 gears and Posi. It’s painted in the correct Cranberry Red and features a black vinyl top and interior. Up front, they added some SSBC disc brakes, with slotted rotors and aluminum twin-piston calipers. This car is ready to hit the road, with only 2200 miles since completion. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Test Drive 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona 440 V8

It’s not often that we get to look at a car like this one. It’s an original 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. This beast is one of only 503 Daytona’s built and it’s in truly immaculate condition. It’s still powered by the original 440 V8 4 BBL, factory rated at 375 HP and 480 Lb-Ft of torque. This is one of the famous winged cars, that forced rule changes in Nascar after breaking all the speed records at the time. It’s painted in the correct T5 Copper paint and it’s riding on a beautiful set of Magnum 500 chrome rims, with white letter tires. This is definitely one of the most collectible Mopar’s of all time and one of the most sought after muscle cars of any type. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

It’s huge, it has tons of power, and it is absolutely dripping with chrome. It really doesn’t get any better than this. It’s powered by the original 365 Cubic Inch V8, topped with dual four barrel carbs and cranking out 305 horsepower. It was a privilege, just to go for a ride in this baby. 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 V8 4 BBL Nicely Restored – Startup and Walkaround

I thought you might like a look at this nicely restored 1968 Pontiac Firebird. This car is powered by a strong running 400 V8, that was rebuilt only 500 miles ago. While they performed the rebuild, they also added a hotter comp cam, an Edelbrock intake, and a Holley 750 cfm carb. This car will really scoot down the road. The body is very straight and they sprayed it with an a real attention grabbing shade of yellow. The interior looks like new and they have added a modern AC unit to keep you comfortable in the warm months. It’s riding on a great looking set of American Racing wheels with new tires all the way around. This car is ready to start cruising immediately. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

It has a full Hotchkis suspension, 4 Wheel Baer Disc Brakes, BF Goodrich G-force tires, and a ZZ4 350 Crate engine. The ZZ4 pumps out about 355 HP and 405 LbFt of Torque. They have added a nice set of coated headers, flowmaster mufflers, and a Vintage Air unit. The paint is slick, the interior is like new…just a great looking car, inside and out. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!
