Back around Thanksgiving, we hit a deer with our 2000 Grand Marquis. They eventually ended up totalling out the car, so we needed to find a replacement. We just recently bought this 2002 Lincoln Town Car. It has really low miles for the year and seems like a nice solid car. I thought I’d give you an update on the situation. I ended up doing a full walkaround and a test drive, so this video went a little long. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!
This is the second video in the series from Area 52 Restorations in Troy, IL. Jimmy is currently restoring a 1968 Camaro and a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. In this video, I give you a look at what has been done so far on the Bel Air. Over the next few days, the fenders will go back on the car, the engine will be put back in, and the rest of the trim installed. At that point, I’ll give you another look at the car before the interior is finished. I hope you find this videos interesting…thanks for watching!
I thought you’d like a look at this beautiful 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner Convertible. This gorgeous classic car screams of the ’50s. Actually, we’re pretty sure you can hear the Happy Days theme song if you listen closely. The Sunliner is powered by its numbers matching 292 CID V8 and automatic transmission. The drivetrain has been recently rebuilt and now has just 5000 miles! The exterior of the car is painted in a great looking red and has tons of chrome! The interior is comprised of a custom red/black vinyl. Other options include: A/C, AM/FM Radio, Convertible Auto Top, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, White Walls, and Radial Tires. The original rear-end was also rebuilt just 5000 miles ago. Other new parts include: new top, top lift and pump, driveshaft, brakes and lines, heater core, aluminum radiator, and front end suspension parts. I hope you find it interesting…thanks for watching!
