This 1958 Oldsmobile 88 sedan was recently restored by our friends at Manns Restoration in Festus, MO.  It was a nice day, so we decided to take it for a little drive.  We’ll have a video coming soon.

1936 Cord First Drive, MG Restoration Complete, & Spohn Custom

The crew at Manns Restoration, in Festus, MO, are putting the final touches on the 1936 Cord 810. In this video, we took the car for it’s first test drive and it did really well. They have a few little bits left to add, then we’ll do a complete video on it. The restoration has also been completed on the nice little MG. The owner is now going to take the car home and install the engine and transmission. We hope to get another look at it after it’s up and running. Kurt McCormick stopped by to check on the progress on his Sam Barris custom Buick. The whole crew has done a wonderful job with it. Kurt was sure to thank Craig Wimmer for the amazing job he did with the wet sanding and buffing. The paint truly looks flawless. 1936 Cord 810 Restoration Update – Manns Restoration

 

We thought it was time for another update on the 1936 Cord at Manns Restoration, in Festus, MO. They really have made a lot of progress recently and it’ll be back on the ground before long. They solved some issues with the pre-selector gearbox and now they have it running and shifting fine. The Cord is a truly unique automobile that was way ahead of it’s time. It’s equipped with front wheel drive, flip up headlamps, suicide doors, the pre-selector style gearbox, and many other impressive features. 1970 GMC Shortbed Pickup – Lowered Custom Hot Rod Truck

I thought you might like a look at this lowered 1970 GMC shortbed pickup. It has been customized with the painted front grill, shaved badges, 20 inch aluminum wheels, and lowered suspension. It’s powered by a healthy 350 V8, topped by an Edelbrock Performer RPM, Holley 4 BBL Carb, and coated headers. Inside, it’s very clean as well, with a set of later model bucket seats and a center console. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Vintage Indy Car Action – Gateway Motorsports Park – Oval Track Racing USAC

I thought I’d put together a compilation of some of the awesome vintage race cars that recently came out to Gateway Motorsports Park. This was prior to the USAC Traxxas Silver Crown Gateway 100 and the vintage cars were just running some test laps. No serious racing here, they were just out there having some fun. There were some pretty amazing cars out there, including some that were formerly driven by such racing greats as Al Unser Jr and Rick Mears. New Engine Installed – 1987 Pontiac Trans Am Engine Swap Part 7

This is part 7 of our 1987 Pontiac Trans Am engine swap series.  We are in the process of switching from a 305 TPI to a 357 Carbed engine.  Since the last video, we have managed to get the new engine dropped into the car.  It’s fully mounted to the trans and we even installed the carb.  We’re running the new 625 cfm Street Demon carb on it, because we preferred some of it’s design features. By the next video, we should have the headers and exhaust installed and maybe have the fuel system set up. I hope you find these vids interesting….thanks for watching!
